A group of us are going to be doing a Sponsored Skydive in memory of Claire Walker Everett who sadly died of cervical cancer age 23 ...too young for a smear which may have saved her life.
St Benedicts is the hospice that claire went into and feel that any money rasied would be best benefited by them.
St Benedicts offer Palliative care which is an approach that improves the quality of life of patients and their families facing the problems associated with life threatening illness.
By doing this we are also trying to raise awareness of how important cervical screening is to all women .
