Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

I am definately skydiving for The Stroke Association!
As some of you know.. i am absolutely terrified of heights, i even have a phobia.. A 2 story building makes me feel queezy so just think of 10,000ft!
Plus is also an accomplishment for me, always wanted to do it so thought.. WHY NOT!

I chose The Stroke Association charity mainly because some people dont appriciate what they do unless a stroke happens to you or someone in the family. The support is amazing!!
My Uncle passed away last year because of a stroke, he lived on his own.. obviously we never suspected him to get one!
My grandad recently suffered from a stroke and is doing well! he can talk, sometimes forgets words but they are working on it still! hes walking fine, cant drive anymore tho.
Thats why i choose this charity because they need more funds to support cases like these.
