We did it!

Even though the official event was cancelled due to a water logged car park (really?) Team Sky Rocket Media decided to go ahead independently with the ride - with so much support we wanted to "earn" the sponsorship and were not going to let the British weather get in the way.

With GPS programmed we followed the route exactly. Tom (11) stormed the course, only stopping a couple of times to take refreshments, and,  fighting extreme hayfever, completed the 29.5 mile course in 2hrs and 35mins (see attached track log). A fantastic effort!

THANK YOU once again for all your generous support. Together with you we have raised over £300 to help the BHF. Now, when's the next one....!

Team Sky Rocket Media is made up for this event by father and son Ben and Tom Philpott. This will be Tom's frst mega bike ride for charity (ok, he has done some pretty epic trails across Dartmoor) and he will be just 11 years and 3 days old when we set off on this 28 mile ride! His Dad, Ben, is a veteran (in age that is, not in rides, as he has only completed one London to Brighton ride!).
