This year's Sleep Out event is taking place in Exchange Square on the 10th of November 2011. Centrepoint was so impressed with Herbert Smith's contribution last year that it moved the event to just outside our offices so there is no excuse not to participate and/or donate!
Over 80,000 young people will experience homelessness in the UK this year. This is a worryingly high figure, which doesn't include many of the 'hidden homeless'.
Centrepoint believes that we should live in a society where all young people are able to realise their potential. Since 1969, the charity has helped over 72,000 homeless young people to do just that by providing housing and support.
This event does not recreate homelessness, but our team will be putting themselves through some discomfort on a working night to raise much needed funds for Centrepoint.
