BUPA London 10,000 · 25 May 2009 ·

Our hospitals serve 900,000 local people. Whilst the NHS provides funding for the necessities, King George & Queen’s Hospitals Charity funds projects which enhance the hospital experience for patients, visitors and staff at both Queen’s Hospital, Romford and King George Hospital, Ilford.

Story

Terry and Simon would like to ask you to kindly donate to two causes - The Southend Hospital Chemotherapy Unit and the Queens Hospital Romford Cancer Unit.

You may or may not know Terry's Auntie Teresa is suffering with Cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Simon's Mum Shirley after suffering with Non Hodkins Lymphoma Cancer she has had intense Chemotherapy treatment at the Queens Hospital Romford, she has now luckily recovered from cancer when she was given the all clear last year.

We would like to do our bit for the cause and if you feel like contributing to our cause we really appreciate your generosity and support.

We will be running a 10 kilometre run in Central London on Monday 25th May.

Being two slightly podgy fella's we have been training hard for this and hopefully we won't let you down.

Thanks again.

Terry and Simon

Unfortunately we have had to set up two pages for the two charities - this one is for the Romford Hospital, below's link is for Southend.
