Lay down to make a stand...with the Great Derby Uni Slum Sleepout!

We're going to build a 'slum' on campus and live in it for 24 hours, to raise awareness for the 1 billion people living worldwide in slum conditions, and raise support for the work of Oasis Trust in Bangladesh.

The Duaripara Family Development Project (part of Oasis) work with 100 girls aged 8 - 15 in a Bangladesh slum, giving them basic education, healthcare, and vocational training - girls who would otherwise be sent to work in garment factories, or even forced to marry.
The project had to be re-located last year as the government destroyed the slum they were in overnight. We believe the work of the project is awesome! So please support the girls, project workers, and us, through prayer + giving!
