St John's Southbourne is running Slum Survivor:

Who? Anyone from school year 10 upwards!

What? We will build our own slums, eat simple rationed food, have restricted clothes and personal items, complete challenges and spend time in worship and prayer and spend one night the way a billion spend a lifetime.

Where? CYE sailing centre's back field.

When? Saturday 21st at 9am till 22nd finishing at church for the 9.30 service.

Why? To reflect on how we can respond to God's heart for justice and raise money for poor communities around the world.

What we need from you:

PRAY: that it might be used for God's glory

GIVE: any materials to make our slums: boxes, pallets, tarpaulins etc.

           sponsor us!

SUPPORT: come along and cheer us on!

ACT: if you are in year 10 or above come and spend one night the way a billion spend a lifetime.
