We did it!!! 2 personal bests and the rain held off right until the last minute which was nothing short of a miracle as when it rained it really really rained!

Steve came in at 50 mins and I came in just under 60 at 59.26 YEAH!!!

It was pretty tough at a few points and with 33,000 other people pretty crowded but overall a great day out!

Hi Guys,

Steve and I are going to be running the Great Manchester Run once again this year with a mighty team of 15 others all raising money for Dignity.

We'd love it if you could sponsor us even just a few pennies will make our journeys round that bit less painful. We've committed to raising £100 each but the more we can make the better!

You'll be pleased to know that we've both been in training this year so we're hoping for a couple of personal bests (not hard for Sarah as current PB stands at 1 hour 10 mins and that was wearing a horse suit!)
