About our charity
Smile Malawi was founded in the UK in 2004 to help orphaned and vulnerable children in Malawi. The Smile Malawi Children's Centre opened in October 2006 and now provides a home for 33 children who were previously living on the streets of Blantyre as well as bringing employment to the local village.
