You probably know I'm always out and about on my moutain bike and on Sunday 22 August I'm going to be joining a great fundraising ride for Acorns Children's Charity.

You're probably aware of what a great job they do and they make such a huge difference to so many families right across the midlands. They care for over 500 kids with life limiting or life threatening conditions and they run three hospices - one of which I recently visited and I was deeply moved by what I saw. Acorns don't charge families for their care and services so I'm hoping this latest fundraiser is a huge success.

The Severn Valley Cycle Challenge will take me on a 20 mile route through such places such as The Arley Arboretum, The Acorns Memorial Wood and the beautiful Wyre Forest. 

I'd really appreciate your support and kindly ask you to sponsor me to complete the 20 mile ride. Any amount will be much appreciated and make a huge difference.
