You probably know I'm always out and about on my moutain bike and on Sunday 22 August I'm going to be joining a great fundraising ride for Acorns Children's Charity.You're probably aware of what a great job they do and they make such a huge difference to so many families right across the midlands. They care for over 500 kids with life limiting or life threatening conditions and they run three hospices - one of which I recently visited and I was deeply moved by what I saw. Acorns don't charge families for their care and services so I'm hoping this latest fundraiser is a huge success.
The Severn Valley Cycle Challenge will take me on a 20 mile route through such places such as The Arley Arboretum, The Acorns Memorial Wood and the beautiful Wyre Forest.
