As a children's book author in the U.S. and the Executive Director/Founder of Be the Light of the Party Foundation, I am proud to show my support for The British Stammering Association with some of the profits from my book S'mores Chores. Look for this exciting new children's book to be released sometime near the end of 2012. It will feature The British Stammering Association on the dedication page as one of my dedicated charities.
The British Stammering Association (BSA) is a registered charity in the U.K. It is an organization for adults and children who stammer/stutter, run by people who stammer. BSA provides information, support, and advice on speech and language therapy.
As an advocate against bullying and a former psychotherapist who worked to raise an individual's sense of self-esteem, this is a cause that touches my heart. After viewing The King's Speech, I became motivated to make a difference and pledge my support.
