On Sunday 2nd August, I will be taking part in Jane Tomlinson's "Run For All" York 10km fun-run... this will be 12 years to the day that my Mother passed away from a Cancer related illness, she was 49 years old.  I have therefore decided to raise whatever I can through your generosity, to donate to Jane's Appeal which raises funds for Cancer related charities.

I will also be claiming through my company's (Network Rail) Charitable Giving scheme... whatever I raise for the above fun-run, they will match* and donate to their chosen charity which this year is the NSPCC (* up to a total of £100,000 per year).
