My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Allow me to introduce myself, I’m Pickles and I have recently been appointed as a ‘Fundraising Dog’ for Medical Detection Dogs, a position of which I’m very proud.

We dogs know how amazing we are, we provide companionship, love, loyalty and laughter for our families, but Medical Detection Dogs do more than that, they literally save lives.

Can it get better than that? Well yes it does. All Medical Detection Dogs are donated to the charity, many of these dogs are rescue dogs, dogs who need a new loving home, a second chance and a purpose in life.

My goal is to raise £100,000 within a year, so that we can train 10 dogs to become either Medical Alert Dogs or Cancer Detection Dogs.

How am I going to do this? Well this is where my canine friends come in. I’m looking for 5,000 dogs across the UK to donate £20 each... only £5 per paw, hence the campaign ‘Sniff 5000’, ‘dogs helping dogs to save lives’.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please donate to help me help ‘dogs save lives’.
