SNOWDON 7 ROUTE CHALLENGE · 3 March 2009

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

Hi and thanks for visiting.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in and at 1085 metres.

There are seven recognised routes to ascend Snowdon, the challenge is to ascend and descend all seven, in one go, back to back, wearing full fire service protective clothing and carrying Breathing Apparatus weighing approximately 24lbs, in addition to any kit required to complete the task.  This is a World Record attempt!

I'm doing this for four charities, Birmingham Childrens Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Help for Heroes and the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust.  Please see the links if you want to donate.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust (SDBTT) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
