Story

On ''May'' 7th I will be climbing (crawling...hanging on to the sides) Mount Snowdon with a bunch of family and friends for a worthy cause.

As you ''may'' already know i have Cystic Fibrosis and so does my little sister. Further Details can be found at: http://www.cftrust.org.uk/

Therefore we are trying to raise as much funds as we can for the Heartlands Cystic Fibrosis Centre in Birmingham. This is a specialist ward solely for patients who suffer from the disease. I personally have stayed there many times for up to 2 weeks at a time and the service they provide is excellent. For example, every patient has their own room to avoid cross-infection. Patients are provided with special dietary requirements and excercise equipment. Furthermore a great team of Doctors and Nurses are always on hand with thier expertise on the ward and always at the end of the phone when needed...nothing is too much trouble.

For many people as far away as Wales this is their closest centre so it is vitally important to keep it going and to such an excellent standard. Without donations this would be imposible.

To find out more about the ward visit: http://www.heartlandscf.org/ ...or ask me about my experience there.

This is a charity close to my heart and even closer to my lungs!

All Donations much appreciated...thanks x
