Nine of us are Climbing Mount Snowdon on the 20th of March to raise money and awareness of Diabetes.
It is the group acitivity of our Biology Tutorial Group... As well as being a good cause, one of the group is diabetic and has personaly benifted from the help of Diabetes UK.
There are 2.6 million people in the uk have been diagnosed with diabetes, while it is estimated that there are a further half a million undiagnosed. It is a serious condition with nasty short and long term effects; for more information please see http://www.diabetes.org.uk/Guide-to-diabetes/
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you very much
