My name is Sara and I am a mum to one angel. Isla was born forever sleeping on 13.7.12. I gave birth to her at Derriford Hospital on the main delivery ward. Thanks to the amazing work of Greg and Jen of the Snowdrop Appeal, I was able to spend a few days with Isla after she was born. The Snowdrop Appeal first raised money for 2 cold cots to be put into Derriford, which means families that lose a baby to late miscarriage or stillbirth get to spend some time with their baby. They are now raising money for a separate area for such parents, which would have been amazing for us as we spent a whole week on the delivery ward, surrounded by crying babies and screaming mothers.
