Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So, I have managed to complete the London marathon again - for the 7th time. I knew this was going to be a tough one, because I have had very little time to train. However, I did not want to let my charity down, and I am very pleased that, having completed the marathon, I will qualify for matched giving from PwC that should help to achieve my fundraising target.

Action for Children has given me the golden bond place on the condition that I run in my Snow White costume again. I am pleased to say that it was once again a great hit with the crowd, especially the kids. I got many applications for dwarf candidates along the way, but sadly, they were all too tall.

Running the marathon is a great experience that I can recommend to anyone. Once again I was awed by incredibly heroic efforts along the way. It makes one thankful again for good health, having the use of all your limbs and many other privileges that one tends to take for granted.

Action for Children supports and speaks out for the most vulnerable and neglected children and young people in the UK. Do visit their website to see what wonderful work they do. I was particularly touched by the work they do with disabled children and children in care.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please help me to support this wonderful charity, every pound counts.
