The UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, we've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, we provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I intend to take part in the Polar Race, a 350+ mile self supporting tab from Resolute Bay in Canada, to the magnetic North Pole in April 2009. The trip should take about a month, and I will be doing it with two great mates, John MacPherson and David Stanton. The team name, as a trio of golfers, is 'Pole In One'. We intend to have a 'Nearest the Pole' competition, on arrival!

More detail can be found on http://www.pole-in-one.com  the team website.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: COMBAT STRESS gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Money will be split with Gardening Leave, a complementary charity to Combat Stress. http://www.gardeningleave.org/index.htm

So, a big push! Please sponsor me now!

Many thanks.
