We are running 100km in July and we would love your support.
Pete, Andy, Greg and Tom are running Trailwalker on Saturday. Yes, Saturday. Two days from now. Enough time to worry; not enough time to prepare.
The event is fairly simple, even for us: 100km along the South Downs as fast as you can. We intend to complete it in 15 hours.
We are running to raise money for the Neal Turkington Nepal Project (NTNP). As many of you know our close friend Neal was killed in Afghanistan this time last year. We have decided to remember the stubborn Irishman by supporting what he believed in. Among many other interests, this included international development, education and the Gurkhas.
NTNP is building toilets and classrooms for a school in a very poor part of rural Nepal. The school is open to all chlidren but is located close to an area containing many ex-Gurkha families.
Professional engineers who studied with Neal have worked with the Gurkha Welfare Trust to select this project. They believe that it will cost £55k to build. As a team, we hope to offer £5k towards this goal.
Thank you for any support.
