In July our brilliant friend Jerome O'Donohoe was diagnosed with a rare and vicious form of cancer called angiosarcoma. He took it on with immense bravery but it wasn't a fair fight and, at the beginning of September, he died with his family and his wife Geri by his side. He was only 37. We miss him every day.
Jon also lost his beloved dad, Don Taylor, to another form of this savage and sneaky disease. Alex is following in her dad's incredible footsteps (he's run 19 marathons!) and will be running her second. She has also lost family to cancer and her aunt was treated in the same hospital as Jerome. Running the London Marathon 2011 is our tribute to these remarkable people. Jon, Alex and I want to raise a ton of money for the Institute of Cancer Research to help them make the fight fairer for someone else. So please, give us your money.
