12/07 Update: THEY DID IT! The team successfully completed the gruelling 25 mile three peak challenge in an impressive 8 hours and 22 minutes. They kept up a strong pace and even ran down one of the peaks. Well done guys - what an amazing feat! :)
09/07 Update: £2,000 in the bag! Sue Green at SGP has been handed a total of £85 in cash from generous doners. We're in disbelief that the target has been reached again! Donations are still being accepted, and will continue to be until a few weeks after the event. We can't wait to see what the final figure for Rainbows will be...
08/07 Update: This is absolutely incredible - in the space of only a couple of days we are having to increase the target yet again. Thank you so much for your support. Not long to go now, and the latest weather forecast... heavy rain :S !

On Saturday July 10th, a team of people from Solaglas and SGP will be undertaking a ‘3-peak challenge’ in
The challenge starts on the Saturday morning at 7am with Pen-y-Ghent (south face), followed by Whernside and finally, Ingleborough. It's a distance of just over 25 miles and will take the team 10-12 hours to conquer.
Rainbows provides support for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. It is a place where children and their families can find care and support. The incredible team of people help to relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavements and care for children until the end.
The charity is currently trying to raise £40k to complete building works to a new extension for teenagers and older children.
