Please help me in raising funds for The National Autistic Society. 

Mission accomplished: Well I did it and din't suffer too badly, didn't see any scorpions, but did see plenty of breath taking scenery. This was definately a once in a lifetime event. The team were brilliant and my boots are well and truely worn in. Thanks to everyone who has been so generous with their sponsorship money. The NAS is such a worthy cause. 

The Challenge: I'm taking part in a 5 day (>100 km) trek across Morrocco with a team of Vodafone colleagues. We will start from Ouarzazate at the edge of the Sahara desert on the 21st of May, climbing over 3300m (10800 ft) through the arrid rocky landscape of the anti-atlas mountains and down to Marrakesh. Quite a task for someone who doesn't like heat! and a bit of a departure from my usual marathon running. Heat-stroke, altitude sickness, dust storms & black scorpions are all potential pitfalls for this trek.

The Reason: My son was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome (a form of Autism) in 2004 and through the National Autistic Society's help and support I have gained a greater understanding of Autism and invaluable knowledge and techniques to be able to help and encourage my son's development.
