Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page for Fraser Gordon and Tony Waddy.
Tony and Fraser met over 15 years ago working in Logistics together and have decided to pull together to raise money for MacMillan as it is a charity close to both of their hearts.
Their aim is simple, on the 24th June, just a few days after the Summer Solstice and the longest Sunday of the year, they are going to cycle from Fraser's head office at Core Talent Recruitment in Manchester to Tony's head office at B&Q in Eastleigh, Hampshire. Providing they don't get lost, that's cyclying 208 miles, starting at sunrise (04:40) and finishing at sunset(21:40). There is no doubt that it will seem like the longest day of the year and then some for them, but with your help the pain will not be in vain as your donation, no matter what size will help make a difference to the lives of cancer sufferers and their families.
A target figure of £2,000 has been set, but hopefully this will be a conservative estimate and through the combined charity of Tony and Fraser's family, friends, associates and even strangers who read this page, that figure could be just the tip of the iceberg,
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
