Story
Hello, hello!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
I have bought my first ever pair of hiking boots and in September I will be taking on the enormous challenge of walking a massive 80km across The Great Wall of China.
Along with a group of others, I will be walking for 8 hours a day for 11 days and sleeping in a tent.
Yes, me in a tent! I've always been pretty vocal about my dislike of all things camping related, but raising money for Macmillan means so much more to me than sleeping in a bed for a few days.
I lost my Grandad to cancer. It's been nearly 12 years, but I still miss him dearly every single day of my life. He was an incredible man and amazing grandad and I wish more than anything he was still with us today.
Sadly, I've also lost other relations to this evil disease and seen friends suffer terribly but thankfully beat it.
I need to raise £3,500 and with your help I hope so much to achieve this.
The first thing on my '2012 to do list' was to do something that would make a difference and help people. With £3,500 Macmillan can really make a difference to the lives of the people living with cancer in the UK.
I need to raise £1,100 by May 29th 2012 so if you are able to sponsor me, please do it as soon as you can.
Every little helps..and anything you can donate (no amount is too small) will not only help me to achieve my goal, but it well help Macmillan to carry on doing their incredible work.
Thanks so much.
