WE DID IT!!!  On 30th October 2011 17 of the team of 20 reached Everest Base Camp around 4pm in the afternoon.  We were thrilled to get there after a gruelling few days hiking!!  A BIG THANKS to everyone who donated... the team total now stands at £50,000 - truly amazing.

A team of 20 people from the Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle Belfast will be trekking to Everest Base Camp in October 2011. This is a sponsored event with donations going to the Tabernacle's Childrens' Hospice in Nyeri, Kenya. The money raised will also be used to make a donation to the Northern Ireland Childrens' Hospice.

I would be extremely grateful for any donations no matter how small!

Please note that I will be paying all of my own expenses and 100% of the money raised will go to these very worthy causes.
