I have been interesting in cutting my hair for a little while now and always get talked out of it due to it being so long. For me, I don't appreciate it as much as I believe someone else will and this is why I am cutting it off to donate it to The Little Princess Trust. 

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs to young girls and boys with cancer. A charity so close to my heart creating such an amazing gift for these children. A family member of mine, Olivia, was born in 2010 with a rare genetic condition that meant she never produced her own red blood cells. Up until April 2017, seven year old Olivia had racked up and excess of 110 blood transfusions that have kept her alive. In May 2017, Olivia received a Bone Marrow Transplant and in order for it to work, high doses of Chemotherapy was needed. One of the first visible side effects of this is hair loss. Prior to the transplant, Olivia also cut her hair for the Little Princess Trust. In August, Olivia begun to lose her confidence and struggled with the hair loss and so contacted the trust once again. Little princess Olivia was so happy with her real hair wig provided by the charity and deserved every inch of happiness that it brought to her! She is a beautiful and brave girl and I couldn’t be more proud to support such a worthy charity.

Alongside the hair donation, I will also be fundraising for the charity to show my support for all that they do. I have started this JustGiving page for friends, family, collegues and guests to help me with my project and support my journey in giving back to the community. Kenny Arnold Hairdressing, Jamie Kearns and the team in Stevenage Old Town have kindly offered to cut my hair free of charge in order to give all funds straight to the charity.
