About our charity : Rainbow Family Trust Rainbow Family Trust
Francis House is a very special hospice caring for terminally ill children. Criteria for entry into the hospice is the child has been diagnosed as having 'no cure'. It is therefore unlikely that these children will become adults, and consequently the House tries to improve the quality of their short lives.

Jens & Carol Walton, John Unsworth, Ole Walton, Ann Pugh, Les & Helen Boggia, James Fletcher, Nicola Baker, Nicola Green, Theresa Wynne & Darryl Crossley are all running the BUPA Manchester 10km on Sunday 18th May.  

Ann Pugh is also running in the Great Daffodil 10km at Kelmarsh Hall in Northampton on Sunday 27th April to help raise money for Francis House.

Jens & John are taking part in the Macclesfield 3-Peak Challenge half-marathan walk on Sunday 8th June.

Carol & Jens Walton and Claire Bone are running the British London 10km Run on Sunday 6th July.

 

With your help, we will be able to raise funding for Francis House Children's Hospice which will enable other families to benefit from the fantastic support and care that Jens & Carol received for their daughter Sophia.  Sophia was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy last year, and sadly died last October.  As a family, Jens, Carol & Sophia were at Francis House for almost 3 weeks and were so well looked after, it was like a second home.
