Penniwells Riding Centre for the Disabled- Tandem Skdive · 22 May 2009 ·

When patients in London suffer life-threatening injury, only our team can provide them with the help they need. With your support, we can perform complex procedures to save lives where others can’t. We can get there in time to make a difference and provide hope for the patient and their loved ones.

Story

I will be taking part in a Tandem Skydive on 22nd May this year.  I have been inspired to take part in this by Paul who had a horrific car accident in 1992 and was taken to hospital by the Air Ambulance.  Paul who is unable to walk still leads a more active life than most of us with rock climbing, horse riding, swimming as well as lots of other activities.  When Paul told me he was doing a Skydive, I wanted to do it to.

I am raising money for HEMS (the helicopter emergency services) without which Paul wouldn't have got to the hospital. I am also raising for Mountain Rescue, England and Wales who are an invaluable service for many climbers and walkers. If you would prefer to make a donation to them please check out my other page www.justgiving.com/sophiecharles

THANK YOU so much for sponsoring me and wish me luck!
