Story

Hi friends!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Nothing makes my toes curl more than the idea of publicly dancing. I expect I'd go through less pain if I actually ran the distance. So I hope that the fact that I am willing to go through with this act of total humiliation really reinforces what an important cause it is.

Dance Britain For Burma is raising money that will go towards improving the situation in Burma, a country which is hopefully in the process of changing for the better, and which needs all the help it can get to encourage these changes to happen. The money I raise will go towards improving education, the fight for freedom and democracy, Amnesty's campaign for human rights, scholarships for students in Burma, and immediate relief. Please ask me if you want to know any more about exactly how the money will be distributed, and how it will help.

And I will be dancing on the 29th September, if you want to come and laugh at me.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Lots of love,

Sophie
