Well, thanks to all your support that's another thing off my list of things to do now that I'm 40 and I can safely say that whilst it wasn't as bad as I'd thought it would be, nevertheless it's not something that I'll be rushing to do again. However I was very pleased to finish in 2,799th place and I was not overtaken at any point by anyone in a giant chicken suit! I'm hoping that I can now wait until at least 50, if not 60, before I have to attempt anything - and it certainly won't involve running 26.2 miles!
