We provide cancer support services to for children in our local areas

Story

Our beautiful, brave Sophie battled cancer for almost 2 years, but sadly passed away in January 2017. We are devastated and broken-hearted.

Sophie had her life mapped out and part of that was raising money to support poorly children like her. It was something she was always very passionate about.

As a legacy to Sophie, we set up a fundraising page (originally via VirginMoneyGiving) and raised £160,000 plus Gift Aid in her memory (as at Nov 2021).

Sophie was a kind, loving and caring little girl.  From donations raised in Sophie's memory thus far, the charity has fulfilled Sophie's wish of a holiday home on the Isle of Wight (a place Sophie loved) so children suffering and battling cancer can have fun and make precious memories with their families.  Sophie would be so proud.

We will forever be inspired by Sophie and will continue to keep her memory alive, raising much needed funds for the holiday home towards its upkeep and to enable families to enjoy some respite.

Please take a look at the photo gallery on this page to see the holiday home and the pool table which was donated to the children's cancer ward from money raised in Sophie's memory.

Love Karen, Steve and Emma xx
