Story

I am 'running' aka walking/ crawling/ tripping over the obstacles to support breast cancer research and in memory of the wonderful Wendy Risby who I'm sure many of you remember was an amazing woman. in 2008 I watched my best friend's life get shattered to pieces after her mum passed away, having fought cancer off previously and getting the all clear. Even six years on, it is still painful to think about what the family went through and how many people's lives it truly affected. After the birth of Lucy's son, Marshall, it was especially hard knowing that Wendy would never see or have the chance to be proud of Lucy and her beautiful son. Breast Cancer affects many people and many families, and I would never want anyone else to go through what they have. Unfortunately that isn't possible as of yet. However, with uncoordinated and silly people such as Lucy and I, we can do our little bit to help raise money in the search for finding a cure.

I am not asking for much, but if anyone has a few spare pennies it would be so appreciated to be donated to such a desperate and needed cause. Cancer HAS, IS and WILL continue to affect and destroy peoples lives.

Please help and thank you so much to anyone who donates xxx
