Virgin London Marathon 2013 · 21 April 2013 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Two years ago, I ran the London Marathon for the first time and blacked out at 24 miles - 2 miles from the finish line. Last year I ran it again - for St John Ambulance - to say thank you for picking me up off the floor and ensuring I made it to the end, albeit 2 hours later than I had meant to be there. This year I am running it once more - this time for the Prince's Trust - a charity which scoops thousands of disadvantaged young people up when they most need it and helps them towards their goals, their own finishing lines. If you can help at all, I and they would be so grateful. Thank you.
