The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I'm going to be cutting a massive 10 (and a bit) inches of my hair and donating it to the Little Princess Trust.  Anyone who knows me knows i've been threatening to cut it for years but never had the courage, but now i've made it so i can't back out!  However i want to donate more than just hair, because i want my loss to be someone else's gain.

The Little Princess Trust was set up in memory of Hannah Tarplee, a 'little princess' who lost her battle in June 2005.  It helps parents of children with cancer and other illnesses which cause hair loss to source and pay for real hair, realistic looking wigs.

For some children the loss of hair can be extremely traumatic, and when also fighting for their life, an uneeded extra stress.  So i felt The Little Princess Trust was a cause worthy of our support.

Please help me help them

I have now made the cut, a massive 18 inches went!  I had more than 10 inches to spare.

But i'm still raising money.  The charity pays for the wigs so the money is an essential part of my campaign.

Please keep helping
