My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the SOS Radio Week 2012 JustGiving page.

SOS Radio Week 2012 is nine days of fun, non-competitive, operating and fund raising by Radio Amateurs for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). It takes place at the end of January to co-incide with the RNLI's own SOS fund raising day.

During SOS Radio Week Amateur Radio operators make as many contacts with other Amateur Radio operators around the world. Some operators will be active from home, others from the local RNLI stations. No matter where they are operating from or how much time they can spare during the event, all are operating with one aim in mind - to raise as much money as possible for the RNLI.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now - thank you.
