We are a 24 hour search & rescue service to save lives at sea

Story

Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored us in the 'Stroke Our Snakes and Spiders' challenge for RNLI SOS day. The challenge took place on Thursday 24th January and you'll be pleased to hear that we survived!!!

Friday 25 January is RNLI SOS Day, the RNLI's national fundraising day. All across the UK & Ireland people will be organising SOS inspired fundraising events.

As part of this, World Of Aquatics in Llansamlet, Swansea challenged Steve and Tamsin to conquer their fears of creepy critters by getting sponsored to 'Stroke Our Snake' and 'Stroke Our Spider'.

The critters in question were Rosie the Chili Rose Tarantula, and Polly the 14ft long Burmese Python. Both Steve and Tamsin held the spider and the snake, although Steve screamed a lot less than Tamsin !

Even though we've done the challenge, It's not too late to donate through this site. It's simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: the RNLI will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support. Tamsin & Steve
