Story

To show their appreciation of the support their mother received when dealing with cancer the Williams boys along with Zach and Jazmine Williams will be rowing around the Isle of Wight.  Mummy Williams survived cancer and this row will demonstrate what the support means to them.  Maddie Dunn will also take part not only raising funds but hoping to inspire some of the young rowers she comes into contact with at her new post with London Youth Rowing.

It will be more poignant for Gus who lost his mother to Cancer in 2007.  Gus was at home with his mother when the Ovarian cancer caused a heart attack at home when Gus was with her.  He completed a row around the Island in 2005, at that point he was doing it in memory of his father and brother who died in 2005.  If he makes it round on this occasion he will become the first person to have done clockwise and anti clockwise.

Boosting the row will be Jack Bladen, Sarah Inskip, Joe Fuccio, Betsy Dewing, Wes Gromiak, Simon Bailey and sailing the little brig will be Als Boden.
