Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This event is a reunion of anyone in Maldon who grew up listening to the music, attending Plume School, going to the Friary Disco on a Friday night, The Crown on a Sunday, we all share a couple of things in common, we're getting older by the day and WE WERE THERE!

You're going to be treated to some fantastic music ranging from Mod/Ska/Northern Soul to New Romantic/Electronica/Alternative to Dance & Club and finally some mainstream Pop, its a FREE event to raise money for Helen Rollason Cancer Centre, as tickets are free and demand is high we urge you to PLEASE only order what tickets you will honour, we are planning a raffle on the night and obviously a few buckets floating around to collect any donations.

Sadly both our families, like many of you have ben affected by cancer, Jackie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and has been on a quest to raise money since that day, to also help others, Helen Rollason played a big part in Jackie's treatment, only recent she also heard the sad news that Jackie & Lisa' mum Lyn was also diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer linked to Leukaemia, NOW is the time we need to start making a difference so no one else has to suffer.

This is it, this is our life, we all must start talking to each other rather than losing touch with each other as we get older, this is going to be an amazing night of memories and seeing people you've not seen for many years, enjoy it, embrace it & cherish EVERY single minute.

Upon entry you will be asked to wear a name badge to make it easier for people to interact throughout the evening.

We look forward to seeing you on the night.

Much love Jackie & Nick
