Story

WE DID IT! After 10 hours of walking through boggy fields and climbing hills in the pouring rain the Anchorage Amblers finished the 25 mile Pennine challenge and received their medals.  Thanks to everyone who has donated and please note that this site is still open for giving.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.   On 17th May this year we undertook a 25 mile hike over the South Pennines to raise money for the Community Foundation for Calderdale and the British Heart Foundation.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Community Foundation for Calderdale will receive your money and 50% will be passed from them onto the British Heart Foundation.  If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
