The British Red Cross, a charity incorporated by Royal Charter 1908, helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives.

Story

In light of the recent events in Japan, I think that it would be a good idea to hold a charity bike ride around the Portsmouth area. Participants donate £2 to take part and also collect donations along the way. All proceeds would go to British Red Cross, to use towards the Japan crisis.
This page has been created for those who can't attend the event.

Sunday 3th April 2011
2pm LJRs, to leave at 2.30pm.
Cycle ride up elm grove, to Bridge Tavern (to regroup and have a cheeky drink/get donations), down along Southsea common, along the seafront and down towards Eastney before back up Albert Road.
After party at LJRs straight after.

Map of route, posters and more details will follow shortly.
