This summer I will be attempting a personal challenge "The South Wales Traverse"
It consists of 31 points over 600m across the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. The route is approximately 73 miles and 5200m of climbing. The aim is to run the whole route in under 24 hours.
I love running, biking and walking in the mountains, and feel that being in the outdoors has great benefits to health and happiness that more people should benefit from. Whenever I go out, I feel safer knowing that we have an experienced local Mountain Rescue Team who can help in case of accident or illness.
Brecon Moutain Rescue also played a crucial role in the search for Alice, a girl from my village who sadly disappeared earlier this year.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please donate to Brecon MRT and help to promote healthy lifestyles in the outdoors, for all our benefit
