Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

The Challenge is to climb the highest mountain in Wales (Snowdon, 1085m), then the uppermost peak in England (Scafell Pike, 978m), and finally, the greatest of them all, Ben Nevis (1344m), in the space of 24 hours, including approximately 500 miles of driving in between.

In exchange for subjecting ourselves to this torture, we are asking for donations to our designated charity, Marie Curie Cancer Care (see left), to help them carry out their invaluable work.

All our costs are covered, thanks largely to the support from our main sponsor, Space Solutions, so every penny you donate will go to charity.

Please give generously and remember, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you.

Calum, Steve, Jonathan, Ruari & Daniel.

UPDATE 12/06: We now have a chauffeur! A big 'thank you' to Ed Lawson for agreeing to take on the driving duties.

UPDATE 09/07: WE DID IT! The challenge was successfully completed in 23 hours & 18 minutes. Photographic evidence coming soon!

UPDATE 17/07: Slideshow of the event added - it's better with sound...
