Story

Thank you for following up on my email.

As a result of Cyclone Nargis the people in the delta regions of Burma desperately need food, water and medical supplies.  As well many children are displaced and without one or both parents.

I am therefore raising funds for both the immediate needs of those in the Delta and also to support an orphanage for children without parents or whose parents are missing. The photo shows some of the children already at the orphanage based in Yangon which runs under the auspices of a local church.

Funds will be split 50/50 between the two needs.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to support my Appeal. Via our own teams in the region we will be able to make immediate direct use of your donation. If you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you again!!!
