Story

Hey, hey Amigos!!

Hope we're all well on this fine fine visit to my fund raising page day

As you may know I am captain uber unhealthy and once proud leader of lets get wrecked every night squad.. GOOD TIMEs! Well I'm chilling from mega partying and getting fit and healthy, scarey!

This has been prompted by a friendly bet between friends, unfortunately just before Christmas a close friend of mine quite unexpectedly lost his mum to cancer, drunkenly at her wake we vowed to run a half marathon and raise some cash for a worthy charity. I've selected the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. In the words of smashy and nicey 'Do a lot of work for Charity!' So here I am raising money for the Douglas Macmilan Hospice. I'm going to be running in the Run to the Beat Half Marathon and have 9 months to get in shape. I know the world is all doom and gloom and not economic boom but if you can give a little then please do.

DMH do a lot of good work and they've personally given some much needed care to many friends of mine in their many battles with illness. I'd like to be able to support their continued care and support for other people who're suffering and hey come on guys.. give a little just to see me in agony actually exercising, that's got to be worth a few ££££!!

I've set myself the target of £1000 and from my reckoning I probably know enough people for that to be a £1 a person really. Anyway please give a little and maybe tell your friends as well...

Sooo yea...

Lets Get it On! Oh and erm... wishing me luck wouldn't go a miss either

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Douglas Macmillan Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

There's only 2 DAYS left now until the big event and with yesterdays massice push we're at 85%  of the target... hey times are hard but giving really does make you feel better, so there must have been a lot of happy people out there yesterday!!

I'm pretty certain we all know someone who's life the DMH has helped to make that little bit more comfortable, whos' family they've supported in the hardest of times... you don't need to dig deep, EVERY LITTLE COUNTS!

Oh and don't forget there's now quite a big chance I'll be donning a bright pink LEOTARD, which is erm nice?!?!
