Luton Marathon · 18 September 2006

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

This is my first ever Marathon and I've been told it's not an easy one! I am going to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK, as my club "Tri-force" triathlete friend and legend Trace Allen, 62, has shown so much determination and zest for life, to overcome this deadly disease over the last two years. He was recently featured in 'Trinews' August 2006 raising funds himself, by running with his surgeon Arjun Shankar. Trace is a former GB Age Group Athlete and has decided to get back into the Age group team, he's a real inspiration to all of us.

You can find further information and a copy of the Trinews article on my triathlon club website Tri-Force

Donating through this justgiving site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Pancreatic Cancer UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
