Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

This fundraising page is for those who can't decide which one of our 60 runners you would like to donate to, but want to help a great cause nontheless.

So why Spinal Research? Thanks so much for visiting our justiving page, it is really appreciated.

There are 60 runners, and all raising money for Spinal research. Our aims are too raise a lot of money for a great charity, get fit and also raise Spinal Research's profile throughout the country, particularly in Manchester and the north of England.

This team are running for Spinal Research for a variety of personal reasons, but there is one in particular that stands out.

Rob Shelton (father to runners Will, Annie and George) broke his neck in 2002, and was paralysed from the neck down permanently. This has therefore brought Spinal Research very much into our families life. We all dream that one day paralysis can be cured, and to have so many friends running for this charity is such an honour, and we are truely grateful to everyone for running.

Spinal Research is a very small, yet world leading charity. Anything you can give makes such a difference, and is massively appreciated by the Charity and the whole team,

Thanks very much
