Simon Says rocka'oke at the Blue

Charity Rock Night- Blue Anchor · 4 March 2013
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Two very worthwhile charities, two of Cornwall's finest rock bands, one great night of Live Music!!
Since we played our first Helstonbury nearly 2 years ago, Turtz and I have talked about doing a double header gig with Bobby's Helmet and High Voltage. Well, the time for talking is over! A date has been set, the venue has been decided, and two very worthy causes have been chosen to support for this event.
For one night only (unless we all decide to do it again!), local Helstonian rockers Bobby's Helmet are going hook up with High Voltage to perform 3 hours of the best rock music from the past 4 decades. All proceeds raised will be split between two charities both bands have personal connections with, Brain Tumour Research and Help for Heroes. Bobby's Helmet will kick off the proceedings at 9pm, followed by High Voltage who will be bringing the evening to a close around midnight. As a little twist to the occasion, High Voltage will be offering the chance for other people be a 'guest vocalist' for a small charitable donation! So, if you've ever fancied being a rock star and getting your five minutes of fame, here's your chance to front one of the best rock bands in the county! in As its a charity event, there will be small entry charge of just £3 per person on the door. This is promises to be a great night, please come along to show your support and help us raise a few quid for 2 great charities. To quote Mr Turton, "See you on the dance floor!!"
