About North Staffs Kidney Patient Association:

The Charity was formed 26 Years ago by a group of the original dialysis patients, to support renal patients and their carers who are treated at University Hospital of North Staffordshire. The Charity is totally independent from the hospital.

The Charity will consider any request from both patients and carers that will make their lives more comfortable or assist them to get around easier; they supply wheelchairs, stair lifts and electric scooters. The charity supply storage solutions to assist patients on a Home therapy to store their equipment and also smaller items such as blood pressure monitors and scales, in fact anything that will help them.

The Charity spends in the region of £11000.00 per year on equipment.

As nurses, we see the good work that the charity does for our patients and it what a difference it makes to their day to day lives. The equipment and support that is provided is invaluable.

This event is our way of saying thank you to the charity for their help and support they have provided over the years.
